Can you resist listening to the urges of your parents, your teachers, your ‘life gurus’, and simply concentrate on what makes you feel ‘lost in the moment’? If so, then you will have found the reason that you landed on this Planet, at these coordinates, in this family … No matter how little it may seem to you, without your own special touch, the landscape painting of this little corner of the Earth will be incomplete!

These complete dedication and ‘time-stopping’ moments, may take place while you are playing with children or while talking to horses all day or while you are making special trolleys with wheels for animals that have lost one of their feet or while cleaning petrol silos or while playing ‘Beat Box’ music with your mouth!

One thing is for sure! You did not come here by accident and most certainly before you go off again, you will have already made a difference for at least one sentient being! And that will have been enough!

See some beautiful examples of ‘time-stopping’ moments of courageous young people, below. The photos of the masks are from a ‘Leadership’ course at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, in Crete. Students designed the mask that they believed best represented their personality. The wall painting photos are of students in the same University being allowed to freely express their art and slogans on the freshly painted classroom walls of legendary room ‘102’. And the video is of young Giorgos Drakonakis, who has a passion for Beat Box music and can play it by using his mouth as the only instrument!
